The Company
My name is Peter Westerdahl and I run and own KranTek-CQR.
My career started as a crane assembler at ASEA Service in 1975, later moving on to running my own business.
In 1994 I went back working at ABB (ASEA) Service as a technical manager in the area of lifting.
KranTek-CQR was founded on January 11th 2001.The focus is now on technical consultancy services and education in crane technologies.
- About 40% of the business is condition control commissions.
- About 20% of the business is commissions in measuring crane paths and wheel angles.
- About 20% of the business is educational services.
- About 10% of the business is project work (consultancy, purchasing of cranes).
- About 10% of the business is other work such as problem solving and error handling.
I am a member of the SIS technical committee 262 (crane standards in Sweden) since May 2002. I am a Swedish representative/expert in ISO/TC 96/SC 5 (Cranes - Use, Operation and Maintenance) since November 2003.
